Octotel technicians will be conducting scheduled maintenance on our infrastructure which will affect the Cape Gate Node.

Scope of work:

The maintenance is to ensure optimal connectivity in the area and to ensure all customers connections are within spec to guarantee a stable connection.

If a customer loses connectivity between the maintenance window it is the result of the scheduled maintenance. 

Our Engineers will be on site to ensure the maintenance is kept to an absolute minimum.

Octotel Engineers will be performing firmware maintenance on Atlantis node.

Maintenance window:
Planned Start Date/Time: 22/09/2026 04:00 SAST
Planned End Date/Time: 22/09/2026 05:00 SAST

AFFECTED NODES: Atlantis

Engineers will proceed with firmware upgrade on the Blouberg equipment to improve the resilience and enhance our security of our network.

Impact:
Customers can expect intermittent to no connectivity for brief periods during the maintenance window.
